This has to be my favorite Busse. I can't believe how well it feels in the hand.

A BIG thanks to Jerry and the crew for making it possible for me to own one, or two. I always wished he would re-introduce this one from the very first time I saw a pic of one of the originals.

Here are two new sheaths I just got from Brian. They're so nice I thought I'd throw in a pic of them as well.

Nice ASH!!!!

you've got the perfect combo to match your DC Steel Heart II.

Nice set all the way around.

+1 on being an Oku sheath fan...

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the pics, now tell me about that Hawk...:thumbup:

Great knife...one of my favorite combinations! Thanks for the pics.

Thanks for all of the compliments. I can't even begin to explain how happy I am that Jerry brought this model back.

(MikeMyers/voice)I'm as happy as a little girl(MikeMyers/voice). :D

Well first off I have to use it everytime I get my credit card statement. :D

I actually bought it off of a guy at a local gun/knife show. I think I have his card somewhere. I believe he's out of Danville VA. He had about 15 hawks and a few knives on his table that he had made. It has a Tigerstripe maple handle and he stated that it is made to the exact specifications for the era that it represents.

I have resisted the urge to order one so far. I see that you have other Busse's so what is it about this one that makes if your favorite? I have seen many people post that this is their new favorite and I am really curious just what makes it so...

Well this one is not my new favorite. It has always been my favorite. I longed to own one from the first time I saw a picture of an original. I just could never afford an original and besides I wanted one made of Infi. I thought that was just a pipe dream. I thought that Jerry would never bring this model back much less bring it back made out of Infi. I forgot one thing though, that Jerry is THE MAN. Not the bad version "THE MAN", but the good version THE MAN.

I just like it, the beauty of it. To me it's the perfect size, mid-size. You can chop, slice, and dice. To me though it's more than it being able to perform a list of functions that small knives or large knives can't perform by themselves.

This model SteelHeart simply represents style to me. It is deserving of the best sheath made, one that will be searched for with a passion behind it. It is deserving of the best made and designed belt to hold it in place.

It is the one that in the heat of the battle when all other means have been used up. You would grip it with all your might and charge and fight with confidence. And as the enemy was falling they would think to themselves, Damn that's one Sexy knife!
