I went to The Blade Show in Atlanta and got to meet Sal and Bram and the new Gunting. It is the most AWESOME knife. I really enjoyed talking to Sal and Bram. They took time out to show me knives and talk with me about some of the Spyderco knives that I own. I begged Sal and Bram both to let me take one of the Gunting Prototypes home with me but they wouldn't let me. I had to go and find a REKAT Escalator to play with until I get one. I have already cut myself 3 times trying to copy Bram. He is really good with that knife. I hope to get to go to the seminar he is having at Myrtle Beach on the Gunting. This will be in September. You will be able to purchase the Gunting, a trainer, a video, and take training for the Gunting. I have put a link to a picture of Bram holding the real Gunting, Sal holding a prototype of a knife he is coming out with soon, and me with a big grin on my face holding a trainer. Really enjoyed talking to you guys.

Michael: by the way ALL of the people I've met INCLUDING my own students and friends kep trying to HOLD ONTO the Guntings..
I have to do a pocket search BEFORE anyone leaves to make sure they didn't take "refuge" in a pocket somewhere..
One of the group claimed that the GUNTING was calling out to him..PLease take me home..I want to go home.." sooo by clicking the ruby red scales together it magically appeared in his pocket...hmmmmm yeah right!
Hang tight ..there' coming soon. I noted on another thread that GUNTING withdrawl can be countered by VISUAL stimulation like viewing the new GUNTING videos over and over again..
you vcan get them from SFO or VIDEO QUEST...
Edges2 aluminum trainers will be available VERY soon as well..this fix should hold you over till the GUNTINGS roll off the line!
 
I would like to get more info on the September seminar. How much is it? How to register, etc?

Bram, Do you have an extended list of "Gunting" Instructor seminar locations and dates?How about something in the Cleveland/Pittsburgh area?
 
Not yet..I'm going to sit down and work out a USA instructor tour... I need to Talk to the GROUP...and see how we intend to work it out..

seems ALOT of famous martial artists were VERY impressed with the GUNTING this past weekend.I got to bang on Andy, Ben, George and even Peter to demo how well it worked..
"HEY! Why are you moving away? there's no GUNTING in my hand..Only a keyboard!"
hmm you guys have been listening to George too much!
