Hey guys,

This is my first post in the Axe, Hawk and Hatchet Forum and I want to use it to promote a great project that a very talented and nice person on Youtube brought up:

The Axe is Back Project.

He says he wants to celebrate the traditional woodsman's tool and encourages everyone who wants to do so to collaborate in the project with their own videos.

Here is the original video that started the project.

Pretty sloppy, my first go at filming outside and without a tripod, and using video editing software.

Hope you enjoy and more importantly put your own axe videos up. Everything you need to know is in the description box of the first video I posted.

I would be very happy about some comments or just a thumbs up - or down if you think my video actually sucks that bad - that would greatly encourage me to make some more videos.

Great stuff Maethor. I have been collecting American & European axes for 25 years. Much of that time I have focused on 1 for the collection and one for use. I enjoy both of those aspects of axedom. Too bad BK&T doesn't have a dedicated axe(s) in the line up of their formidable working blades. I'd be all over that!
