The Basic 8!!! Along with a Basic 7 and Basic 9 for reference. The blade is shaped like a small Basic 11. I really dig the deep belly! Sorry for the crappy pics. Cheers!

Congrats:thumbup:
I'll look forward to my shipping notice and receipt.
Since I'm low man on the totem pole due to my delayed ganza order........I must be patient

Thanks btnbinb. Looks nice. Your pictures make the rumors a reality and the wait easier. Congratulations. Mike

Any comparisons between the B7 and B9? Or do you have a camp tramp to add to the mix? :D

Glad you got it, dtmbimb. I'm super excited that they're shipping. Can't wait!

Between the cabs and the b8, not sure what else ya really need...

Note that "need" and "should own" are two different things :D

No Camp Tramp. The B9 feels like a "small" dedicated chopper. The B7 feels like a perfectly sized camp knife that could use a choil. The B8 is all the best features of each wrapped into one. Feels like it should chop as good, if not better than, any other blade of its size. The choil makes it feel great for small work. I hope to get out this weekend to beat it.....I mean test it.

Sounds just as I'd hoped!

Have fun with it!

Wow! So cool! Looks like they just extended a Basic 7 pattern enough for a full choil, made it a tad wider, then built it out of INFI and gave it a satin finish. Dream knife!!!

Thanks for the pics and mini-review!

Truth! For me it falls under just to have haha just like so many other things I have.

If I really only needed one it would be a great choice such a great offering from the folks at Busse.
