Yeah, I've wondered if the BATAC is going to be a shorter version of the SJTAC, or if the BATAC is going to be scaled down slightly on all accounts (handle, grip as well).
 
I am really interested in seeing how the BATACLE compares to the BA-E!

Note: When I say "compares" I mean dimension wise. :)
 
It's interesting to see how small the HRLM looks compared to the BATAC. Perhaps a bit of optical distortion?
 
I think the apparent size difference in the HRLM and Badger is probaby accurate. It is a huge difference between the two. The TAC handle is not scaled down and it's a big handle even for the SJ in my opinion. I felt the same way about the BA-E though and I thought that knife was amazing. What are the opinions on the feel of the knife in hand?

So your telling me that I have to buy myself a Swamp Rat Knife(ptoouy).

I had thought that the BATAC and HRLM would be so close to the same size that it wasn't worth the difference to own both, but I see how wrong I was, now I have to get both.

Anybody with a BATAC have a SJTAC as well? Could you post a comparison shot?

That TAN/TAN is great. I ordered the same, but with MAGNUM grips.

Still no word though:(
 
I dont have a SJTAC for comparison, nor have I ever handled one, anybody else?
I live about an hour and a half from wauseon, suppose that makes some diff with USPS maybe. Check your mailboxes early Monday boys!

Would like to see more pics of users out there!
