Hey guys, if you dont know me its cause I post over at the bali forum mostly.

Well with that being said, we at the bali forum put together a group effort and made a video for our little section of thge forum. I guess some of you have seen our videos before and know that we make them often to showcase our talents. But this is the first time we got this many people into one video. and this is the longest video that has ever been posted over there.

The Video is just under 20mb. and is about 17 mins long. It showcases the talents (and I do mean talent) of 16 of our members over there. So by all means, if you have the time, check it out. We are prolly gonna do another one in a few months, so if anyone wants to get in on that one, just keep checking the bali forum for the thread..

Only found out about the whole project today. Haven't seen it yet. Hopefully it will bring back my love for balis:( . Great job!

Folks, I didn't see a trainer knife in the bunch. Those whirling, twirling blades are all live. The aerial stuff? That's very advanced. You just don't see many people who can pull it off. The behind the back and over the head aerials? Wow. And notice how many of these artists are doing right- and left-handed manipulations. Most of you can't even write with both hands much less handle a spinning live knife.

So, come on folks: give it up for 16 of your fellow members here who had the guts to step forward and perform this stuff for you on video and post it on the internet for all to see.

Bravo!

It is a cool video! I can open and close my bali with either hand, but I only wish I could do some of that twirling and tossing. Maybe I should get a trainer:o and then I might be more willing to practice. You folks have some awesome SKILLS! And they are skills, you worked to hone them and they are awesome! Well Done.

Over 15 minutes of solid balisong flipping!!! :) that is entertainment! I lament once more the confiscation of my
Benchmade-43. :grumpy: One day maybe around the time hell freezes over I'll get over it. :p

Catch you on the "flip" side

You guys got SKILLZ! That was friggin' awesome! It would be soooo neat to be able to do that with a bali... did any of you get training or instruction or just practice a LOT? Really, I'd like to learn some moves like that!

Cool, im glad everyone liked it, this was our brain child since last month when it was first concieved we stayed on top of it the whole time up until its release, and IMO and other peoples opinion, it coulnt have came out better. Im very proud to be a part of this and hopefully the next one we do will be even bigger.

8th sinner, thanks a million for helping me with the editing and credits, if it wasnt for you the vid would not have been released when it did.

Like Zenghost said, Balisong Xtreme is great for learning techniques. Along the lines of a few of the really advanced things like over the shoulders, behind the back catches, doubles, triples, quads, and opposite rotation aerials, they are trial and error. Having to learn on your own and figure out how to get them to work. It took me a little while to get down the spin on the "Opposite rotation y2k style aerial" now, i can hit them with doubles, like in the video (and almost stab myself in the stomach.

Also alot of the moves in their are orignals that we made up and learned from each other. I seen a few people doing a few of my moves and I of course have done a few of other peoples moves, pretty cool how we learn from each other for this stuff.

We must have done something right to deserve praise like this from the balisong collector himself, thanks Chuck! :)
It feels good to have been part of this project, even though my contribution was only a smaller one. Oh well, at least my name's up there on the board with the bigger fish :D

Yes! Great job you guys. Although I don't know much about editing, and all the video stuff, that had to be a real workout for you Heath.., and also "8th Sinner" doing all the intros, etc.

Fantastic job!

It requires the updated version of Windows Media Player, so you'll need to install some new codecs and stuff. Try opening up the Media Player and going to "Check for Updates" in the Help menu.

I've gone out of my way to keep a version over a year old and not update it. One of the newer versions has a type of spyware that keeps track of what you view with the program.

Icon! That was bad ass! Very cool, my wife Noel even watched it with me, maybe she will pick up a Benchmade huh!

Thanks TDE... that would be cool if she did start flipping, I wish Mary (my finace) would. :)
