Good Evening.
It is I, Vampire Gerbil.

Wellp, some might say this might belong at the Auto Forum, but I gave it some thought and since it don't not describe what one would call a switchblade, I think this is an appropriate forum to place this here post.

There's been more than one (and admittedly, less than a gazillion) querries about the Ballistic Knife and it seems that I have the extensivest webpage about the subject in all of wwwDOTworldDOTdom....com.
That said, if you have any questions about the subject, check out my Ballistic Knife Page and you'll get all enlightened and stuff.
I made some additions, namely the pistol version, cuz some folks, folks that really know their stuff too, I might add, seem to have the different kinds all mixed up. I got these pics by going to a gun store in Vegas and asked the salespersonman to take it outta the case so's I could take pictures of it.

Oh, and on the page, I left out the old fashioned "one shot flintlocks with a knife attached in case ya missed with the ball/bullet cuz, well, they amen't modern. The ones shown on the afore mentioned page be all modern and stuff.

As some of you are aware, in addition to the Russian Ballistic knives (I first became aware of these from VG's images online), there were also other attachments besides the blade.

Namely, a baton attachment and grappling hook attachment. On Ebay right now, there is an auction for a ballistic knife without the spring, and another auction for a Ballistic grappling hook with the spring. One could buy both of these and combine them to have a ballistic knife, complete with spring and two attachments.
