OK so starting a new thread and hoping the folks here can help me out.

I"m looking for knives in the Barlow pattern that can be found on the shelf and available to Canada.

I know that there are issues with exports of horn etc. so my preference is for acrylic but if there are spots that are setup to export (or locations in Canada) that can deal with Horn and Bone list them up. Wood just doesn't do it for me unless it's something awesome.

Blade steel can be carbon or stainless but should be a quality steel on par with other knifes out there.

Bail and or lanyard tube are OK but not a must have or a turn off.

Price is right around $100-125 USD.

The TC/GEC etc models are off the table unless they're in stock and in the noted range. Pre-orders and wait lists are off topic and forbidden here. This is for the guy with a C-note in hand who's going shopping.

Pictures are strongly encouraged and of course no links to non BF retail sources. Don't want anyone getting infractions. Lead me to the blade maker; give me some hints if you think I need them to find the retail source and let's go!

I've seen some form Queen, I think or one of their links like Schatt and Morgan maybe

Rough Rider? Why get just one, when for the same green you can get eight to ten?
Good steel, great construction, and more handle choices than you can shake a cat at.
Come in sizes mini/tiny to grand daddy, too.

I second the Rough Rider barlow. I have several in various handle materials. Well made, good edge holding, top value IMHO.
I also have a Queen single blade in bone stag - wonderful knife, came razor sharp out of the box. Of course you can buy 6-8 Rough Riders for the price of a Queen.

Do a search on ebay for Case Barlow. Plenty good examples there for $40-$70 USD.

This queen #69 is available online( there are multiple like this), very reasonable and in D2 which will slightly patina. I'll gladly shoot you a pm if your interested.

Thanks guys, I"m building my list. If I can't find any of the suggestions I"ll let you know.

Second on vintage Case Barlows, they can be found in mint condition in your price range. For some reason which I do not comprehend Case does not offer any new Barlows, they used to make some of the best.

I live in Scotland and have customs and excise to deal with too, not to mention dealers mailing preferences. I use a remailing service based in Oregon that I can pm you if you'd like.

Thanks where I work in has a US office near the border than I can drop ship to and self import (when I'm feeling patient). I just prefer when they ship straight too me. Sometimes plan B takes weeks.
