It is true that my S-2001 has not yet passed my bean test. I'd like video "PROOF" that a S-2001 can open a can of beans. Not my S-2001 but yours because it would distress me greatly to have to wipe bean juice off my tiger striped blade.

It would also be nice if they would make a Strider knife prop that looks like the old Steve Martin arrow going through OBL's head...

Well my MT mod 10 passes the chilli test:p

Did not have a can opener handy at work to open a semi frozen can of chilli last week. However, the mod 10 was screaming HIT ME. So with a few well placed hits on his buttox (the MT mod 10 you perverts) driving the point into the can opening it so the MRE spoon could scoop out the semi frozen gelatinous mess:D :D

Now admit it.......how many people carry a brown MRE spoon in their kit:p

those spoons are virtually indestructible...

I'm struggling with ordering an MT-10 or the D-Al ($$$) or an EB series. Is that your middle length knife and does it have serrations?

As far as I know the MT mod 10 is the smallest of the MT series. The MTL is the biggy then the MT and finally the MT mod 10. If I remember right it's 10% smaller than the MT.

Nope, the MT mod 10 does not have serrations. However, my "new" MT SS has them and while I've yet to use them they look way better and more functional that the serrations on "survival" knives.
