Well, this one has been shown here before, but I finally got around to takin a few pics myself and thought I'd share. The blade is 15.5 inches and overall it is 22 inches.Don Hanson III did the damascus blade, and Anders Hogstrom did the Handle treatment in walrus ivory and sterling silver. As you would imagine from these two,it really does look better than my photo ability allows, and feels good in hand.It is quite a handful.

I have seen quite a few of Don Hanson's pieces and his work is always impressive. But that one is absolutely stunning !

Dayum, that boy is talented ! :D

Well, even though it was shown before, I never saw it, so thanks for posting these photos.

I love big knives and this one is huge. Very interesting that it has a guard and a ring.

I have not seen this either, thanks for sharing.
Outstanding  I really like the look of the curved guard and the ring. I like the look of the whole package, but my eye is drawn to the guard and ring for some reason. Great looking knife, thanks for sharing.

I am delighted to have a chance to see this one again - awesome!

That makes me happy. You were the one that helped me in learning how to post pictures when I first got here, Roger. So Thanks for helping me to share what I so enjoy with others of the same mind.Glad I got the chance to show it.

What? No cutting and chopping review on this one? ;) :D

Seriously nice monster bowie, Rob. Make sure you bring it to Janesville, ok?

heh,no Danbo...I won't be doing any hacking with this one....I'm sure it could handle the work,I just can't bring myself to do it.And that's no disrespect to anyone there.I'll bring it to Janesville...at least that way I can come home from the show with a knife...I hate coming home empty handed, but this one ate up my Janesville stash

If youu ae willing to expose this beautiful blade to Danbo drool, you are a braver man than I. :p

Roger

Great pics of The Beast Rob, you did better than Anders. Very glad you like it, Anders was a pleasure to work with on this piece and it's great to know it found a good home. Oh and please don't let Danbo mess it up:D
