I have my fair share of Stag handled knives, but only one in Crown Stag.
Yup, not only is it my only Crown Stag handled knife, but it also happens to be a miniature knife!
What it lacks in size, it makes up in beauty ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

Although it's a Linder of Germany brand product, I believe it was made in Spain for Linder. The hint for that was that the leather sheath's hardware had some tiny words stamped into them, and when I googled them, it turned out to be from a Spanish supplier.

Okay, so now let's see your Crown Stag handled knives! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

Heh I suspected Linder as soon as I saw it. Could be made in Spain. I was looking at their website and while it is listed as "Knived made in Solingen" it has the suspicious wording "assembled" in Germany.

I like Crown Stag on a knife, but it has to be selected for form and scale with regard to the blade it will be put with. They can look really nice if well matched and crafted with skill and care.

In general though, I am not a fan of any hidden tang handle. My perception is that it is weaker than a full tang, slab handled knife.

Please don't beat me over the head with examples such as the Marine Ka-Bar or the Airforce Pilot's Survival knife . . .or the Gerber Mk-II either. I would just rather grab on to a full length, full width tang that is continuous with the blade.

Think of a Loveless style drop point hunter or a CRK Geren Beret/Pacific.
