I got my BK2 less then a week ago, and already have spent an additional $70 modding it, now should I get the BK7 or the BK14? Heard only amazing things about the BK7 but I feel like a I need a smaller knife for finer task, any thoughts or suggestions?

P.S. Not sure why I added an "s" on the end of addiction.

The 14 is a damn handy thing to have. Makes an awesome EDC. I think I'd snag that one next.

It doesn't matter which you get soon you'll be thinking maybe I should have got the other one then after you break down and get That other one you'll start thinking of the next one it's it a never ending cycle.
But at least a Happy cycle.

The BK addiction is real only way I was able to control it (some) was to find something else to occupy myself.
Only problem with that is that new thing cost me even more $$$$.
Like BK's I have to buy accessories (mostly chrome) to put on the new 2014 HD Street Glide Special.
Here's the news add on for it

I still need to get a BK7 to put in the custom sheath I bought a few weeks ago.

I've been down this road fairly recently. You will not be able to control yourself. You HAVE to own a 7 and a 9!! The 14/11 is also a necessity, as you'll feel empty inside if you do not have some sort of becker on you at all times.

welcome to the addiction(s) my friend! :)

Now that I am probably gonna get the 14, my new dilemma is should I get some zebrawood handles for my 14 to match my 2 or should I just get the scales on Amzaon?

Relatively new to knifes and the whole EDC concept, but really a fixed blade for EDC?

Yes Sir!! Fixed blade EDC is the only way I roll.
Usually my trusty BK11 is with me 24/7.

The benefits of a fixed blade far out way the benefits of a folder in my opinion.

A lot of it depends on your lifestyle, occupation, preferences, etc.

For example, I don't EDC a fixed blade on my person because I work in an environment where most people would freak out at the sight of a fixed blade knife of any size. So for the routine tasks, I carry a folder of some kind. However, I typically carry a fixed blade (my 14 actually) in my briefcase in case I encounter some kind of an emergency task that requires something more solid than a folder (in a crisis, people only care that you have the tools you need).

If I could carry a fixed blade and use it as needed without getting called to my bosses office every other day, I would. You have to decide if it's appropriate for you and your circumstances.

In the same boat my friend. Plus, there's not many task that I come across on a day to day basis that my Spyderco Tenacious can't handle.

Leather or Kydex? Where did you get it made?

I recommend the tkc scales. Had the izula micarta, just couldn't warm up to them. The tkc scales completely changed the knife for me. Heft, balance, grip, feel is outstanding.
