I have taken my opiates and muscle relaxer, so I am gonna be sappy.

I really enjoy you guys and your threads and postings. Most folks I know think I am weird for my love of knives and using them for bush craft and other tasks. It doesn't bother me, we all have our hobbies and passions. They just don't understand the joy and fulfillment it brings people like us. To them, camping is a cabin or trailer. Hiking and backpacking is something you do with a,guide or never leaving the trail. They will never experience the connection with nature by being a part of it and learning to adapt to mother nature.

I don't actually know any of you but I feel a kinship and a bond of friendship with the people here. I feel that if I were to come across any of you in the bush, it would be a time of great enjoyment and immense sharing of skills, tips and tricks.

Thanks for the forum folks.

Happy dirt time,
BushOgre

clean it up, keep it clean, or else i will and more ;)

man hugs for everyone. except the ladies.

This is a great forum, best knife manufacturer on the web.

I like to think of Becker's as the peoples' knife- affordable, tough, and functional. I like a lot of different blades out there, but Becker's have a special place in my heart. It all starts at the top w/ Ethan I think. Everyone here, mods & members, are all friendly and helpful.

I was on the Esse forum and someone posted one of Virtuovice's vids and some guy was making fun of his accent. I said that wasn't cool, no one backed me up and they proceeded to tell me to chill and let them have their fun. Most of them are cool though.

This forum has a real friendly and inclusive vibe.

many of us are on both forums, it's a little different vibe over there, But it's cool. I check in every day or so over there.

I've been pondering making a thread like this, but the ogre beat me to it. Thank you everyone for being such an awesome forum, and thank you flexxx for your inappropriateness :D

Consider yourself hugged. Or patted on the shoulder. Or... whatever you want. Yarrr, manly things :D

I do enjoy this forum, I have learned a lot already and still more to learn.

I can't wait for west coast gathering. It will be nice to put faces to some of the usernames.

Good stuff Ogre! It sounds like you've said what many, including myself, feel about this group. I've learned much and am very grateful, but that's as mushy as I'm getting. We all know ogres are like onions, they have many layers....

Plus one on what everyone has said, this is a great place to be. Great people, great knives, and good times! Cheers!

I thought I was one of a very few people who was kinda crazy about knifes. I was glad to have found this place, and I found it on accident so I'm very happy that I did find it.

Opiates and muscle relaxers? Wait we're still not talking about that thorn in your finger are we? if so we are gonna have to change your username because Ogre is not what I am thinking. :) Just messin with ya ;)

I agree totally. I don't post too much but I can GARROWWWNTEEE I am on checking out the new threads and posts... and pics every day! Thanks to all for the contributions to this community.

Ha ha ha, I had spinal reconstruction back in 09. Replaced 2 disks, fused the bottom 4 vertebrae, added 2 titanium rods and 5 large screws. I am probably more of a BushOgre / Cyborg cross breed. Lee Majors may be the Million Dollar man, but I am the $275k Man.

I agree with Ogre on this. It is a great place to hang out, talk knives, show off your stuff, and have some fun.

<smack's butt> GOOD GAME!!!
