I have tried several knives for office EDC but I think my new Valet may be my favorite. I don't like a "gentlemen's knife" in the sense of fancy wood or design but I also don't want something that looks or feels cheap. So premium and sleek feeling while still being functional. I got the knife Friday and I'm really enjoying it.

I'll take some pics of it's natural habitat tomorrow. :)

I bought one of the first production runs. Glad I got one too. I use it on those occasions when a bigger knife might scare someone or Sunday carry.

It is a sleek little knife! And because there is no choil I can get a 4 finger grip. :)

It was one of the dullest I've got from the box but it sharpened up real nice.
 
When that knife first came out, I was very intrigued. However, I read a couple of reviews stating that it tended to have blade play. Have you all had that problem or was it maybe an initial glitch that's been resolved? Thanks.

Really? It's one of the sharpest Benchmades I've received.

None whatsoever. It's extremely solid/tight.

Mine was perfect(except the edge)
 
I love mine as well, very sharp and solid for such a small knife. Perfect for dressed carry and nice places.
 
i got the shinola edition with dymondwood grips and blaze orange g10 spacer..perfect centering...very,very,very little blade wobble and decent edge that touched up nicely

I've love to get that orange back spacer on a standard production valet a-la mini Crooked River style.
