Good morning fine ladies and gentleman. In 1989 a friend of mine traveled to Switzerland and brought back for me a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Swiss Champ Super Timer + SOS Kit. What a guy! I put it in a drawer and never used it. I ran across it today as we are down-sizing. The watch does have Roman numerals, what that means, I don't know. Would somebody be so kind to shed some information and approximate value of this much appreciated gift. I am ready to part with it after all these years. Thanks so much! Please remember....today is a good day to have a good day! Maros Awntman🙂

Perhaps gift it back to the friend who gifted it in the first place.

I think of the person who gave it to me frequently. I do not know his name or where he works. We were nothing more than strangers, which made the gift so much more! He is a multi-millionare and lives in Dallas, if he is still around. One person caring for another, lifes greatest value.

Wait, what? I thought this was a friend? 🤯

I feel like we should hear the story, now! Details, please!
Soooo where did you two meet? Did he just toss a knife at you, or was there a conversation first?

As I was working 2.5 jobs and commuting 1 hour one way back and forth to college every day, along with a wife & a baby & a house & 2 cars. “Great things are done when men and mountains meet.”― William Blake
One of my jobs was as a bartender at the most exclusive private club in Dallas, meeting among others Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall & Jerry Jones. (You can't make this stuff up, well I guess you can but I am not) So one of my "regulars" between sips of his Jean Doussoux Single Cask N°89 Edition Limitée XO Cognac, shared with me that he travels to Switzerland often for business and sometimes buys knifes while visiting and would be happy to pick one up for me. A man is only as good as his word, and he came through. So shines a good deed in a weary world.” ~ William Shakespeare
