I desire a Karambit but I'm not sure which Karambit is best. My desires are that of the Cutters Knife and Tool model. The Tarani and Emerson are tempting as well. Can you share with me your opinions. Thanks

I think the best would be a fixed kerambit by RJ Martin. Sharp like hell and extremely low profile. But if I had to choose a folding kerambit, I'd stay with Tarani folder. It utilizes a back lock, a lock that's stronge than a frame lock and liner lock. There's also no chance for me to accidentally unlock the kerambit. The one I have is the Master series, and this thing is built like a tank. No bladeplay whatsoever.

I got to check out an Emerson Karambit a few months ago, but I just received a Tarani Journeyman Karambit and I find the design more to my liking. The "wave" feature on the Emerson definately adds to the cool factor, but the Tarani Karambit feels much better in my hands and it's very sharp. It's a great utility/defensive folder.
