The Best Mass Produced Throwing Knives In your Opinion.

Hi! im new here, and this is only like my second post, so please forgive me for any mistakes. In your guys' (and gals') opinion, what is the best, mass produced throwing knife set you can buy. probably nothing from perfect point, im guessing :highly_amused:

Im awaiting some United Cutlery Gil Hibben Gen. 2 throwers in the mail. I've heard good things about them, hopefully they're worth the $35 i paid for them!

my kids and grandkids have really gotten into throwing this year and we have went through a lot of knives and the best i have found is the Cold Steel True Flight Thrower. nice heft and point.

Condor knives are highly regarded; they are mass-produced in North America. The best models are the Dismissals and the Half-spins.

The only throwers I have are the Gil Hibben ones that Steven Seagal used in the movie Under Siege. They throw OK, and have decent points on them, but are as blunt as anything. For throwers that shouldn't be such a big deal, but the large one is specifically marketed as a knife that you can throw or retain in the hand for more traditional self defence. Why you would make a blunt knife for self defence I have no idea, but I am putting in plenty of time on the Sharpmaker to try and get them into shape. But it is a very slow job.

Knife companies have come a long way in quality throwing knives. Condor has been very consistent in their quality.
