Searched high and low. Along the way I ended up with 2 Eu-17 Magnums #12/#14(#12 a user that I've been enjoying very much), a Regular (#4 which has aluminum tube fasteners and black micarta which is one of a kind on Eu's), and a Mini which happens to be #17. I tried finding a matching set, but it was hopeless. I'm happier with the ones I've got regardless :D. BUT, if anyone knows where the other #17's are, I would HATE for you to tell me:p.

Here's my set:

That regular is STUNNING!

Great pics!!

Awesome pics. You don't often see these three trouble-makers photographed together.

Thanks guys :D The Eu-17 is EASILY my favorite Busse. My favorite Eu is DEFINITELY the Magnum I've been using.......the Regular #4 is a close second though ;). It probably WOULD be my favorite if I can bring myself to use it :D believe me, I'm still grapling with that decision!

If I ever get the chance, I'll get another mini and regular so I can have a set to use and a set to keep nice and mint for a future day as backups. The Mini would be the perfect light carry for a day hike, with its 5 (thereabouts) inch blade, the regular would be perfect for backpacking, and the Magnum would be great for the camp site.

Fortunately my body doesn't mind the extra weight of the Mag. I can carry it wherever regardless :D.

Does anyone with a Magnum have an FBMLE to show in comparison? I'm curious.

Rick

I'll be able to show you a picture sometime this next week :D
How bout a pic of the Eu family with a SHBM, 2 FBM LE's, and 2 FBM CG's. I traded the Ergo because I didn't like it.

The Mag is a more versatile knife than the SH or the BM because it's light, but can also do HEAVY work. It's a little thicker than .25 and is in between 8'' and 9''. The blade isn't a very broad one though. The penetrator tip is a nice thing to have also.

The regular is similar to the Hell or Mud Razor, but it's thicker and the handle is SOO much better!

thanks for the pics! there aren't many, especially the comparison shots, which i assume is based on their rarity. when i had some cash i kept an eye out for one for months without seeing any. i really wish the boss hog would make another run of the magnums as they seem like an awesome blend for a big chopper!

Thanks :D. They're incredibly hard to find. Even harder to separate from people ;).

Great pics! Man, now I'll have to find a medium EU-17...How many of these were released to the civilian market?
