Hello all,

I wanted to see what you thought about my new Sebenza. I talked to Tom last week and told him I was interested in a Mayoized Sebenza. He said he was getting in a pair of NIB larges with S30V 58-59RC blades. I asked him to fix one up for me and the following photos are the result. The knives with my new baby are a large Mayo TNT, and a '97 BG-42 large Sebenza. The knife is as smooth as silk, and the anodizing, holes, and serrations make this special. I have never seen a Sebenza with serrations. So what do you think? The best of both worlds, maybe.
Be safe.
Mike

He also changed the thumb-studs, didn't he? Those look much more comfy than the standard ones.

JD,
He did change the thumbstuds and they are much more thumb friendly. Thumb studs on both sides also. Also, he put a small recess on the back side near the thumb stud to make the knife easier to open for left handed users. Very nice.

hmm....

I wonder if the people from CR see this (can you smell next sebbie model?)

that is BEAUTIFUL! i wonder if the big Cat would do that to one of mine (and what the $$ would be). Beautiful !!

That looks great. I really like the thumb studs and the serrations. My small seb had Reeve's serrations and I thought they left something to be desired. They cut well but looked just plain fugly.
At any rate, nice mayobenza!

the Seb looks really cool. I wouldn't want it done to mine (if I had one) however, as it look's like the drilling was not perfectly semetrical.
