I lost my job about a week and a half ago. I had been working 70 hour weeks forever, usually including weekends. If I had known this I might have skipped college and stayed on the farm! :) I'm sure I'll get back on my feet again soon, my family is great and I'm looking at a career change. This was a good catastrophy.

I've also got to rest. I feel like myself again. I haven't felt this balanced and centered in years! I've even lost some weight and I'm smiling again.
What I've discovered? Man, I've missed this forum and the special people on it.

I've been ogling khuks this morning and admiring Cherokee Rose pics. It's really great to be back here and posting again!

We're glad to have you back aboard:)

70 hour work weeks are no fun. I have them for about 6 months a year, then I take the other 6 months and count cracks in the walls waiting for it warm up again so that I can work 70 hours a week...such is a seasonal family owned business.

Lions Roar, nice to hear from you. I'm glad you are feeling better inside and posting again. I will be loosing my job this weekend then going on vacation. I hope your time away from job is nice and that you are able to do what you want. Thanks for posting and don't be a stranger. ;)
