No not you Blokes...I'm talkin' 'bout Pumas.
I know Duncan has a German knife thread...but who cares what Kiwis think?
I don't know of a Puma thread so lets start one in honour of my good mate Ken from Dalmeny...He is a down to Earth country boy and retired long haul truckie. So theres nothing he doesn't know. He was having a clean out at home and found two of these...he said "I don't need two. Put this in your collection."...I snatched it greedily from his hand like some character from Lord of The Rings....I know what everyone is thinking..I'm thinking more Aragorn than Smeakol...We sat awhile in the Taproom and I shouted a couple of frothing tankards of XPA..which was more than he asked for...and spoke of Jacaranda wood scales and good quality blades.

I have two; one with real German Blades assembled in China, and one with a molded rubberesque handle that they unloaded cheaply at the big southern e-tailer some decades ago.

L lambertiana ...That is a beauty....I'm starting to think I should bag a couple more Pumas....Those I've seen at the sadly now defunct Sydney Knife Show...had a commanding presence..and pricetags.

Bought this very many years ago. The wood is Jacaranda..........I used to play under a Jacaranda Tree when I was a kid in Kenya, the flowers are uplifting in many ways, stunning tree.

The price tag is the reason I am not in the market for more. They certainly used good stag before about 2000.
