Hello Everyone,
Caleb finished up the picture a few days ago of my big fighter I made for the BLADE show. I thought I would go ahead and post it on here for you all to see. I think he did a great job on the pic. This knife wasn't on my table long so many of you who were there didn't get to see it yet.
The double edged blade is forged from 1080, 15N20 and 1095 in a mosaic pattern with a twisted pattern on the primary edge. The blade is 16 1/2 inches long and every bit of it is sharp, top and bottom.
The overall length is 22 1/2 inches. The handle is made of pre-ban walrus ivory. The fittings are blued steel with my own engraving and 24k gold inlays. It's the biggest knife I've built to date.
