That's right. The Grivory Triumvirate. Let's see what you've got.

don't have the scraper, but was given the Ka-Barley at last year's Uncle E gathering, and won the Sporketh last week via Bladite's/Ka-Bar gaw, feel very fortunate to have gotten such awesome freebies!

scraper lives in the truck, kabrley lives next to the fridge, and best of all, SWMBO had not even noticed her KaBarley was MIA and so I was not in the doghouse when I put the new one in its place. I did not pick up a spork at Blade, as it's a little delicate for my hands. ;)

Ethan graciously gifted me a spork! It now lives in the truck. No more keeping throw away utensils in the truck. I was surprised by the little internal knife though. Used it to cut up some pork chop just as a test and it passed!

I dont have the other 2. No snow here. I have 600 bottle openers and still normally use my lighter to open pop tops.

Just got the Sporks the wife loves em
We Camp
Almost 33' trailer with ac and slide out
So yah we rough it on the Queen Bed as we use to Cal King,
I use the equivalent of a small cot
She so Happy today got to show off her pink buck and Ka-Bar Lady Leg she wants Diamonds just give em what they want easier that way

Why or do I need any of them.

What is the first one, a dingle berry remover?

I live in a world of twist open bottles, why would I need an opener?

It also only snows here once a year and I get a scraper for 98 cents at Wal-Mart of I need one but in reality I just park in the garage if it is going to ice over.

Maybe KA-BAR can invent some more junk that nobody needs and lose money on the program and have to raise the cost of my future purchase to off set their loss.

How about a hammer, KA-BAR can produce a hammer because us outdoor knife guys just love hammers. I mean knives and hammers are so closely related and if you have a knife you most definitely will eventually need a hammer. How about tire patches because us knife guys really need tire patches.

I mean I just love the fact that I am finding it hard to afford a MKII because in the last 8 years the price has risen from about $53 to about $80. Yes, please produce some stuff for you to have fun with so I cant afford you any more.

Wow... someone needs a nap lol.

Well...for people who drink beer that's not twist off like 90% of the decent bottled beer...it works great, AND it works for twist offs. I wear mine on a lanyard at the lake and all the bikini clad ladies come to me to open their beer...so theres that...$7 well spent

For those of us who don't have a garage...
Well...another $7 well spent.

Haven't got my hands on a spork yet but I will not be taking crying James's advice. I'll spent my hard earned seven whole dollars on another kooky cool Ka-Bar non-knife related item... eventually.

Jamesofarc- The MK2 is not expensive...I don't know what all beers are twist off world you're living in but if you want one bad enough it's not that hard to come by even if you save $1/day for 3 months...or maybe you're just bad at math, I dunno. Divide $80 by 8 years and see what you could've been squirreling away for that time.

I'd love a Ka-Bar hammer.

You probably love your $10 Walmart knife to go with your $.99 scraper. They probably both chipped to pieces the first time you used them...to each their own I guess.
A new one every year for 8 years, you coulda had a Ka-Bar baby James...you coulda had a Ka-Bar...
Now that's easy math!

I had heard somewhere that these came to be because Ka-Bar was trying out the material but it turned out to not work for what they wanted so they came up with these items to use the stuff they'd already bought. In any case, Ka-Bar knows that most of their customers enjoy bottled beverages, own cars, and want a spork for their outdoor adventures.

if you can't afford an MKII, it's not because Ka-Bar makes bottle openers.

It was for hammers and tire patches...didn't work out...

Looks like RnD dropped the ball...
Everyone uses twist offs, has a garage, and it only snows anywhere once a year...

That's too much math...
So, what are you saying? Prices will increase again!?

The Ka-Barley is a short-term bottle opener, after about 50 bottles opened the edges are a bit chewed up. Still, great for the price and I'll probably get another. The ice scraper I have yet to use (WA weather is weaksauce) but it's in my trunk with the rest of my tools. The Spork is new but I've used it on 2 outings and it's a great little tool, the knife I'll never use but it's a great spoon and the fork is decent as well. A good spork indeed.

i'd like the spork to be bigger/wider more spoon like...

still, good triplet of items...

would happily have a bucket of all of them, to hand out to people and advertise for KaBar...

the lake effect scraper would be nifty to have more of, but the bottle opener is super popular, everyone wants to steal man

I've opened well over 50 beers and no visible damage at all to my Ka-Barley.
Probably over 100...no idea. When it's not around my neck I tie it off to the cooler or near the coolers for others to use.

In the last 8 years? Yeah, that's called life. Prices tend to rise over time. Taxes and death are other constants you can count on. :D

I read a review or two that noted the edges on the opener don't hold up. However, after countless bottles, I only see some minor wear on the back edge of both of mine, and there's a lot of life left in them. If mine go belly up at some point, I think I'll survive.

I think I was just not using mine very well, it has a couple small chunks taken out of the edge which makes it harder to get a grip on the cap than when it was new.
