No, it does not... just a miniature novelty item. Head is made of stainless steel, tacks are brass, handle is wood, and handle wrap seems to be a thin suede leather.

All pretty cool looking, but it's strictly a conversation peace

Here it is placed inside one of my knife display cases. It's doing a good job of adding a little bit of spice to an otherwise all knife theme within the display

Awww... it's adorable. Kinda reminds me of those letter opener versions of swords, only scaled way better and nicer looking.
