No, it does not... just a miniature novelty item. Head is made of stainless steel, tacks are brass, handle is wood, and handle wrap seems to be a thin suede leather.

All pretty cool looking, but it's strictly a conversation peace :)

Here it is placed inside one of my knife display cases. It's doing a good job of adding a little bit of spice to an otherwise all knife theme within the display :)

Awww... it's adorable. Kinda reminds me of those letter opener versions of swords, only scaled way better and nicer looking.
