knife I`ve ever made! The Alpha Lobo! 13" overall, 8" blade of 1/4" x 2 1/2" tall stock. Left in the "as forged" finish, with black micarta handles, this bad boy weighs 1 lb, 12 oz. This one is for MidwestDave, and will be going out after the first of the new year. Now I`ve got to go butcher a steer so I can make a sheath!

Actually I started on it last week, and heat treated it Monday. My wife has been starting work at 2:30 am this week, so I`m in the shop by 3 or 4 am.

I bet it is a first rate camp knife for both food prep and fire making.

(If one could be made in 1/8" SS steel it would be an incredible kitchen knife.)
