Nice knife, I like the signature on it too. I was in a local Cabela's after they had been introduced, and asked to see one. Was told that they did not have any and that he did not think they would get any. Then I asked to see the knife in a brown leather sheath, and low and behold there it was. My wife came over at about that time, and asked if I wanted it. I told her to let me think about it. Then went over to the bargin cave and found a track seies in iorn wood. The track series came home with me that day, just sorta followed me home you might say.;):D HL

PS guys, for me it's a big catch.I only have two 110s that to me are collectors and this is one of em.I'm not what you would call a REAL collector.Who knows maybe Chuck Buck signed a bunch of AG Ironwood 110s?

Very nice Sky, the coa has CJs sig as well, did he sign it? My guess is that Chuck visited that store and signed a few while he was there last year. Great looker for sure:thumbup:

Yep,now that you mention it Fritz,I think he said that's what happened,it came from a store in Pennsylvania.Like I said,I'm a real green horn when it comes to collecting.I'm sure learning though thanks to all the great guys on the Buck forum!Chuck Buck is someone I really admire! Wow, it's signed by Chuck Buck:D

Yep it's signed C J Buck too.:D

The signature may be why they had it left over. Many folks will choose a knife with a clean blade over one with a signature.

Which turns out to be your good luck.

:)

On the phone he said I hope you don't mind Chuck Buck scribed his name on the blade of this one& signed the certificate.Heck no,I said as I was thanking him.On the lid of the box there is a tag with a S on it in one of the photos,I guess that's what the S is for.I feel like I really lucked out thanks to an outstanding employee at a Cabelas in Maine named Jim Allen.I'm sending him a Thank You card& writing a letter to the Big Guy(or girl) at Cabelas so they know what a great employee they have!

That is just really nice Tom. Some will say I'm nuts, but I think I like the Ironwood better than the stag ones. To have the COA signed and also the blade makes it even more special.

Thas a "sharp" looking AG! I love that ironwood! The sig looks great on that blade as well!
I would say thats was a great score! I think you are very lucky you got Jim A. on the phone that day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)
