The BK-11 Finally Arrived!

I got the BK-11 I had been waiting on, and it actually came with perfect timing...it came on Christmas Eve,

Holding it and comparing it to a wrapped BK-14 I can see where some may find the BK-14 a little more comfortable...

But I don't find the BK-11 uncomfortable, it fits my hand just fine, and my desire for multi-purpose usually over-rides my desire for pure creature comfort.

I used the BK-11 to make some fuzz sticks to put on the embers of the fire from the night before and revive the fire.

Alayna was pretty quick to help gather fuel for the fire...

Thanks, I actually screwed up the shot I was working on and had to start over again just to capture that shot. The micarta makes a big difference. Glad you enjoyed the shots.
 
Nice pics, they really give me a perspective of how a necker fits a large hand. Unfortunately, I don't need a fire as I have enough belly insulation.:o

Thanks, I'm digging the necker really well...the 14 is a bit more comfortable but the 11 has been on me since I got it...even when I had the 14 on me too :o
