...Annnnd now I can't find my pocketknives anywhere.

Initial impression of the knife after holding it for the first time: I was seriously building it up in my mind too much, and I mean that in a good way. I've read of quite a few people who were disappointed with its heft and overall size - but I love it, feels great. Pleasantly surprised that the logos on the blade were stamped, rather than the newer laser-etched version. The blade absolutely needs to be sharpened before any I do anything else with it. Epic fail on the paper test. The grivory scales feel pretty good, but I'm certainly interested in stippling and micarta - I'm betting I'd be happy with the tan grivory scales being stippled, but I've only got the black set.

Anyway, my first Becker! Looking forward to getting the knife good and sharp and putting it to work.
Thanks, guys.

Congrats!! Now strip that thing and then destroy some wood with it!

You do know the BK2 is like a gateway drug?

And the Micarta is so worth it.

That is a really nice 2. And, by the end of the month, after you've enjoyed what it can do, you'll be eyeing others. Get an 11 or a 14 to compliment the 2, then get a 15, 16 or 17 and you'll be so far into the madness you won't know how to get out, or want to.

Have fun!!!

Congrats! The BK2 is hard to beat, tough as hell and built to do nearly anything without breaking a sweat. Mine is basically stock and the kydex sheath has the TekLok mounted on it, otherwise it's as-is.

The BK2 is my go-to workhorse around my little ranch, with the BK14 as my EDC around the house and when out and about. The BK2 is always near and in my truck or in the saddle bag of my Harley if I go someplace.

Congrats on the BK2. It was my first Becker and still one of my faves. It is an absolute tank and can handle anything you throw at it!

Congrats she looks stunning overlaying your folders very nice pic and trust me you will love her...
