I forged and ground this one. Michael Vagnino did the clay/heat treat work.

Michael Burch has been helping me out with the polish.

Don't know if I'll keep the finish, but I thought I'd share what I have so far:

It's a scanned image, for some reason it looks like there's a polished edge, but there isn't. Also the finish looks uneven compared to real life and you can't see the false, polished edge on the spine (mune). Trust me it's there.

I'll take a real photo when it's done.

Nice steve! What did you use to get the black hammon look? I have been experimenting a little with the etch look but need to grind more blades to work on.....any hints on the process ol' buddy? :D

Steve that's super, you're makin me jealous! Despite the holes, it looks like you intend to wrap this? That's a fine looking blade. What steel did you use?
