The BLUE MAXX has arrived....and He is MADD!

I just got my lost [arrrgh.....ups!] MADD MAXX today.....and its BLUE! The BLUE MAXX! DDR has really outdone himself with this one. I am really impressed with the design, the quality, and the feel of the knife itself. This thing is awesome! 5.5" D2 bowie blade in a Ti frame-lock...it begs to be used. The edge geometry is great, with mine running about .024" behind the edge. The knife was shaving sharp out of the box. the blade finish was nicely applied ceramic peen on the bevels and satin on the flats.

But the really kewl part is the BLUE anodized Ti frame! I wasn't sure how I was gonna like it, but it looks fantastic. The thing locks open like a bank vault, and the .150" Ti slabs give alot of confidence.

Oh well, I'm rambling now.....I'll post more after I carry this monster awhile.

Ah Will, ain't they GRAND! I also have the bowie style blade and have had it since early March AND it still fascinates me! I can sit and open it, hear that loud CRACK as it locks in, and just grin like I have lost my mind. These MADD MAXX's are "TOTALLY AWESOME"!!

I have the ceramic peen all the way, and can only imagine how great it looks in a blue frame. If you get a chance post a pic of that bad boy!

Can you believe this guy? (DDR)

The EDC with stainless liners, the auto stiletto, the Gemini Project, the large and small Arc Lite, and now the Madd Max
with a Ti frame lock and D2 mod blade (ok, he had some help from Lamprey with the stud arrangement).

Not only a great artistic and creative talent and a mastersmith, but more to the point; he's got nerve!!!

Who else would concieve and attempt these projects and achieve them?

every time I think I have ordered enough of his knives for a while he comes up with something else that blows me away. Guess I need to get in line. Trouble is I like that balisong too not to mention something special we have been working on for a few years, the EDC with Rob Simonich, a Stiletto with Tim Herman and an Appogee Illusion for my dad before he takes mine.
