Have not posted here lately.
So here are a couple to look at, both knives are sold.
First time for me with the G10, kinda like it, what do you think of it on a slip?

Folder - #490
Orange G10
Closed - 3 5/8''
ATS34 - Hollow Ground
And is hand finished.

Hi,

WOW! Those are lovely. The inlay of the shields are superbly done. Did you like using the G10?

I'd have to give the nod to the mammoth ivory but they're both nice. I like the grind on the clip blade.

I wouldn't want a collection full of G-10 slipjoints, but it's nice to have a couple:thumbup:

I like em both Todd, but the ivory gets my top billing. The g10 is really nice, but I tend to prefer my synthetic shadows without sheilds. Just my personal preference.

Does the ivory folder blade have a slight acid induced finish or is it just the lighting in photo? Beautiful either way.

No the photo is just showing it that way, the steel is hand finished smooth.

Thanks ya all.

That second one is soweeeet!

I woulda been all over that first jack if it was bolstered on the pivot end.. Just for the look- I'm sure the G10 is plenty strong...

I've used G10 on a couple of slips and like the orange better than anything I've
used. Should sell like the holy bejeebus just before november.

:thumbup:Both of those are the BEES KNEES!!!:D But I'm a Ok State Alum and bleed Orange SOOO I love that one and I like the shield as a little something different;)!!

Thanks for sharing, Shawn

Nice work! Did you get the design for the shield in the G-10 knife from the old New York Knife Company shields that they sometimes used in their folding hunters? It looks very similar.

Yes it is that shield, good eye.

I appreciate the compliments.

Yes, That shield is quite unique and rare.. Not one you see very often to be sure. Nice touch there, Todd!

Both are nice as is all your work ...

Kind of a neat contrast, the old style shield with the modern orange G-10.
While the G-10 doesn't have the warmth or character that some of the other materials have, being an avid hunter I can definitely appreciate the visibility factor

Nothing wrong with variety.....it's all good Todd.
Really love that mammoth ivory......

I like both of them and have never been a G10 fan, but CNAS has convinced me that orange G-10 is :thumbup::thumbup:.

I really like the shadow knives and will be making some more of them.
The walk & talk and the whole fit of the knives are rock solid.
Glad ya like them have a great weekend.

Thanks

Todd
