:) HI!

I do hope that I am not out of line with this post. I have finished my book called Tidioute: A Town With an Edge it is avaialbe at www.iuniverse.com search word tidioute.

If you want to learn more about the Brown family as related to the famous CASE cutlery companies this book is for you. It includes a small price guide to Tidioute related cutlery, explains the history of the five companies that operated there, and has a copy of the 1912-24 Union Cutlery Catalog also.

Very reasonably price and a great read.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many congratulations PA. Very happy that all of your hard work has finally come to fruition. I am having trouble finding it at the link you provided though.

SK,

sorry, I corrected my post. You would think I would have learned to spell by now.

thanks for all of your support. You are listed as a contributor due to your experience and knowledge in the knife world.

Thanks

Good Job Pa!!
You coming down to Titusville this weekend? If so, bring a few copies. bruce/birdog

HI!

I will be selling at a table in Titusville, but will be only taking pre-orders as I don 't have extra copies available for sale as of yet. You will be able to place an order with me at that time and those will be autographed if you like. otherwise going to www.iuniverse.com will get you a copy faster, just no autograph. Thanks for all of the support folks. I look forward to all of your comments and questions, after you have finished reading the book. Bernard Levine, Brad Lockwood, Scott king, Mark Zalesky and a host of others were extremely helpful in getting this project completed. I would also like to thank John Stitt, of KaBar for his support both through research and financially. Great people, each and every one of them.

Congrats, pa knives on your accomplishment.

Folks, the link has been posted.

Let's please keep with the commercial free aspect of the forum by limiting any further commercial content to direct contact with pa knives or the link he provided.

Thanks!

I agree with Blues.

The information is good, just wish it had not been delivered by it's author here.

In the future please contact Elliott or myself when something like this comes up. We will find a way to work with you.

Gentlemen,

Perfectly understood. Please feel free to remove this thread. I would never want to do something improper.

David, no need.
I think it's great that you've produced this labor of love and know that Gus feels the same way.

What we are trying to avoid is the appearance of favoritism whereby we allow a bit of commercial content in the forum due to the unusual circumstances of this book release, without having someone else point to it later on and ask why they weren't allowed the same latitude.

Hopefully you can understand the delicate position that places us in and that is why it is often better when a customer or client is the one that comes on the forum and posts a review or notice about a new knife or related item.

Our congratulations on your accomplishment are sincere.

Congrats on the book finally being released David, I for one cannot wait to get hold of a copy, great news.
