I love this movie, but I'm wondering what you think of the ending. I'm talking about the people being "interviewed" at the end where they state their opinions on whether it's ever right to take up vigilante justice. Does the ending add to, detract from, or make no difference to the movie?

Didn't make any difference to me.
I just want to know if the bartender with no comment was Geraldo Rivera or not.

I like the faux 'man on the street' take at the end. Then again I like the movie a lot , one of my top films.
I'd be one of the guys saying "sign me up!". :D

Why...you ready to get your **** on and get busy?
:D

Not quite yet, although I can think of a few folks who would definitely benefit from it. :D

Interesting that more people think it adds to the movie. I initially disliked it, but as I watched it more times it started to grow on me. Now I think it sort of adds to the movie and I'm OK with it (I'm sure the producers are relieved).

It adds to the movie, but I think it would have added more if it were real and not scripted.

I think it adds to the movie , it was actually part of the movie and in the script for sure.
Too bad we can't script all the evil out of the world.
