My BOSS Street arrived in the mail today! This is my first Busse knife and I have to say that I am highly impressed! There is nothing about this knife that I don't like, not even a little bit. Ergonomics are fantastic, almost as if the knife was custom fit to my hand. The blade length and thickness, for me, are perfect. This knife will compliment my duty firearm perfectly! I do believe that this is now my favorite knife!!:thumbup::D:D

Well done to all those at Busse for making one damn fine blade!

Sorry I can't post pictures yet, will do it as soon as possible.

Congrats on your first!

I think you picked a great one to start with.

you are correct, the boss street will make and excellent duty carry knife, i was thinking the same thing when i got mine and held it.
you will be very happy that you got that particular knife and have it in a duty situation.
be sure and post if you have a actual situation with the knife, it will be interesting to us to hear about the incident. are you on swat or is it going to be for regular duty carry?
thanks for what you do for the citizens and the "thin blue line".

Thank you stricknine. It is very rare that law enforcement officers get thanked for the job we do, usually it is quite the opposite. Not that I got into this profession for the praises but it is nice to hear. Not on swat, used to be but due to health reasons I had to give it up. My "glory days" are over and I am bound to working at our court house. But, I am positive this knife will perform effortlessly at any task put before it. Again I thank you for your kind words. If you are in the same profession, I extend those thanks to you and all those at BF who do the same and those who serve in our military.

yes sir,
i spent 30 years with the NCDOC, retiring at the rank of captain this past oct. 1, started at 20 and finished at 50. i guess you could say i had seen enough, now working for the North Carolina Gang Investigators Association as a strategic planner. yes LE work is a thankless profession, but then we did not get into it for that. one thing i can say about Busse is that they are all very dedicated to LEO's and the Military, which is yet another reason why i am on board. if you look at some of Jerry's post he started selling knives at the Fort Bragg area in the mid seventies. i will be at Fort Bragg on Wednesday attending a region meeting for the Gang Investigators Association. i know what you mean about the "glory days"!

enjoy that boss street, you will love it!

Not to take this thread off topic but, thanks to both of you gentlemen and all others who are in your line of work.

There's something about risking your life everyday that deserves an extra thank you.
