My "BOXL" arrived a few days ago, and all I can say is this is one of the best designs that I've ever handled. It feels as if it was molded to my hand and the edge is just insanely sharp:thumbup:

I took it out to a patch of woods behind my house and just started cutting and sharpening sticks and branches. I'm actually surprised at how light it feels in the hand. This blade performs like a BEAST! While doing some light bushcrafting, I had an army of skeeters attack my ass, so I started a small fire to smoke them away from me, so I could finish playin' with the BOXL. By the way, it shaved hairs out of the box, and it shaved hairs after I abused it:thumbup:

Also, the sheath is fantastic. It's light, compact, and the snap feature is very well thought out and secures the blade perfectly.

Bottom Line: The ergonomics, fit, and finish are superb. Dylan's craftsmanship is outstanding. And, most importantly, I have 100% confidence in carrying the BOXL in the woods whether it be a day hike or extended hunting trip in the mountains. I'm just glad I'm on the "Dibs List" for the Pocket Kilo....:D

Thanks Dylan. Your design is awesome brother!!

Here is a pic of the BOXL with my Springfield .45

Very nice blade, brother! I wouldn't have any hesitation about getting the job done with that! Love the .45/BOXL photos!

Very nice! I've owned the ASH before, and the BOXL just looks way more user friendly. How long did it take from "dibs" to receipt?

I was on the "Dibs List" for the "BOXL", but this particular one was left over from "BLADE". Those who were on the email list for Fletcher Knive's, received an email showing the knives that were left over from the show. I just happened to be the first one to jump on this particular "BOXL". The etched cross, on the blade, just has a "heavy metal" vibe to it. Just check out the late Ronnie James Dio's shirt and also Dio on stage fronting Black Sabbath.

The "BOXL" is incredibly user friendly. It feels like an extension of my hand and I plan on taking it out today to abuse it some more..

right on.. that is a bad ass looking blade..

i also recieved my (standard)Bush Op. that i had dibs on, a few days ago too.. it is waaaay nice.. i love it.. i'll try and get some pics up soon... it actually just started raining here... go figure..

Took the "BOXL" outside today to do a little choppin' around the property. I'm sure I could have used a "proper" tool for the job, but I can guarantee it wouldn't have been as fun....:D Bottom line: The "BOXL" chopped and sliced it's way through a ton of branches, limbs, and shrubs. I flat out put the heavy metal, thunder and lightning kind of abuse on this blade and it just took all I had and actually begged for more...

Here are a few pics of the branches I was chopping. As you can see, they are not telephone pole size, but they weren't skinny either. I'm not the strongest person, nor do I have the best chopping technique, but the "BOXL" was bringing these limbs to their knees in one or two swipes/chops...

Awesome knife RW. So how much does it suck to wait for the package to come then go out of town the day it arrives???? Way to much to describe. Right now I have an Orange Estaban, a PSK, and a t-shirt waiting at the house all cooped in a USPS box. And to beat all the wife sent me a picture text yesterday of the box. Boy she sure knows how to play me.
