I named my new neck knife after the Bugaboo park......it's on my list of places to see[Bugaboo Provincial Park, situated in the Purcell Mountains of southeast British Columbia, continues to draw climbers from around the world to its airy, glacier-sculpted granite spires. With many peaks over 3,000 metres in elevation the Bugaboo’s offer awe inspiring mountain and glacier terrain.]

I figured that while Mrs Pit was doing the easy task of getting the Christmas dinner made and tidying up I'd do the difficult task of walking the dogs........heck it's real wet and windy today !!!

Not sure how safe the bridge is~

Hmmm...holding up so far~

Not life or death if I fell in but I'd still be bloody wet and cold !

Anyway onto the little knife......This is what I call a true Necker, most so called neckers are far too heavy to really wear around your neck. This little guy is super light and super sharp.

Made a little fuzzy~

The nice square spine throws great sparks from my ferro-rod~

First trip out and I'm already loving this knife !

Firstly, happy Christmas to the family Pit, hope you did all the dishes!!

That is a real nice looking necker, the design of which seems spot on.

I think I may have to get in touch with Mr B in the new year.

Enjoy the rest of the holidays.

Ps. What spooked Snicker?!

Perfect survival necker. Super simple, super effective... appears to be just a hair on the 'drop point' side of a 'spear point' and I love it. Handle looks super comfy. I may have to tack one of these on to my order :)

I knew that was gonna be a good one. I'll bet a thin scaled version would be great too.

Pitdog wanted his Bugaboo in 3/32". Another fellow wanted his in 3/16" thickness:eek:.

Here is a pic of the 3/16" one next to a 1/16" thick one.

At first when I was contacted and the fellow said he wanted his in 3/16" I was thinking to myself Holy cow
that is going to be so thick I think that will be yucky, but as i was making this one up the more I handled that knife and it thickness I knew I was wanting one too. I make most PSK type knives in thinner steel but this thicker one is pretty cool. It took making one to figure out just how great feeling in hand a thicker one would be.

I learn something new every day about knives lol.

Pitdog I hope your cut is healing up fine.

I might have to make and post the video, but once I get done with it, it will still cut like a razor, just a thick one:D.
