Manicure kit... BWWWWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! What a scream!

As usual, another fantastic time today. The show, well, stunk. Very few knives at the show. However, we met several new forumites and had a blast at the second best (behind the SECKS) custom knife show in the state. That "show" would be lunch at Bubba's.

And I got a new gun - a Kimber Ultra CDP .45 auto. That always makes for a good show.

I think it's really great that you all meet like that! It must be super to be able to share your collections and swap stories with so many good folks. I hope to meet some of the members of the gang at the upcoming Southeastern Custom show in Sept.

. How is the fit and finish? And do me a BIG favor. When you put it through it's paces, please E-mail me and tell me what you think of it. I am seriously looking at getting one soon.

Great Day in the Morning!!!

Talk about Table Ware!

Thanks for putting up the pics and one of these days I'll wander down from PA and surprise you guys with a visit to Bubba's

Question, who brought the most knives to the party?

Hey Gary - you recognize that Simonich Carnivore at the bottom of the third pic?

David Baker usually has the most knives. Not sure who had those honors this time. We just throw them all out on the table and let everyone else play with them. It's a great time all around. The owner of Bubba's is a gun enthusiast, and doesn't mind that we take over a whole wing of his place for several hours.

Hey Jailhack -

Mark and Denice, thanks for the excellent pix! Y'all class up the joint! How come no scrimshaw or Dalton pics? Also, I really want to see a Randalton pic

I'll have table # 28-C at the SECK show in Winston/Salem. You guys GOTTA stop by.

David - I noticed the lack of knives on my end of the table when downloading the camera to the computer. As you know, I had a bag of customs, MTs and Daltons with me. Next time, I'll try to remember to pull them out before taking pictures.

We went up to the Columbia show today and visited with Dave Manley and DW Childress. A few other SCAK members were there also. I couldn't resist picking up another of Dave's. He came out with another Wharncliffe pattern that's a bit bigger than the one I showed you yesterday. Very nice and very reasonable - let me know if you need his phone number. He will be in Winston-Salem. We're planning on being there also.

Maybe Denice classed the joint up a bit; but I collect Daltons, so I have the opposite effect

Yup, especially with the knives with the liner lock on the "wrong" side
