I recently bought the CRKT Pikes Peak, a little knife in their line of Mountain knives, and the Buck Strider Tarani Police model. I like the design of both knives, but how durable are they? The Pikes Peak's liner lock barely clicks, I have to use the LAWKS feature just for my own well being upstairs! Also, the Buck police knife doesn't look like it is closing too well, I'm afraid that it is going to close on my hand. I use the Police knife sparingly, and the Pikes Peak was going to be my new EDC. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Is the lock not engaging or does it engage and slip off? If it engages, you can wrist flick the blade out hard and try to seat it. (Don't do it too much, don't want to flat spot the stop pin)

I think I might've flicked out the Buck one too many times. It still locks, but it looks like the liner is not far enough to the right, it looks like it could slip at any time.

Nah, you said the liner was not enough to the right. That's good. Centered is normal/broken in and to the left (just started to engage the tang) is considered fresh
