The BURP Mil Edition

I had just returned home from a vacation in Ireland and was catching up on the forum when I saw this great picture posted by PeteyTwoPointOne. I didn't recognize the blade but I had to have one.


A little research and I was looking for a BURP Mil Edition (aka MO BURP) a "extremely limited mil overrun" from the "OP2W-HOGanzaaa". I knew my chances of finding one for sale was about the same as finding a War Boar for sale. A quick search and I found that one has offer on the exchange while I was still in Ireland. A quick PM, a lot of luck and it's mine... I find it hard to believe how I discovered a unknown to me Holy Grail Busse and have it in hand in just a couple of weeks. It was part of the "OP2W-HOGanzaaa" ....

Burp Coaches edition was one of the most comfortable well balanced blades I've ever owned. Hands down.

Comfortable in every hand placement and grip I could think of. It felt super light for being the actual weight that it was due to being so well balanced.

I couldn't get over the recurve though.

Maybe someday I'll snag another.

I agree but to clarify, the CZ is not mine, it's a photo that inspired me to hunt down a MO BURP. I have to admit that I'm surprised no one has commented on my SVI pistol, 21+1 40 S&W that runs perfect. SVI is the Busse of the gun world, every SVI is built to order and they have a avg lead time of 18-24 months. No one makes a better 1911/2011.
