I'm thinking that it's kind of cool.

I didn't even know there was a Cabela's in Canada, so you learn something every day.

If it was an exclusive knife to Cabela's Canada, how many would typically be produced in a limited run like that? 1,000? 5,000?

I had not heard Buck was doing that model for Canadians either. On a Limited Edition run it could start at 1K and end up being more or less by 250. We seen that happen. Good hunting, DM

It was a limited run of 250 knives for Cabela's Canada in 2013. Original price was $199 (cdn) but they were on sale last summer for $99 (cdn). With the exchange rate you could order one for $103 (us) shipped. It was a great deal and a lot of people jumped on it including the resellers.

Cabelas had their Alaskan Guide Series last year too. I picked up one of the 191's in that series. Really nice knife! It is done in S30V, leather sheath, and nice handle. Bought it at the new Cabelas north of Atlanta when I was passing by.
