I asked about this a while back, but now that I'm finding a little more about it, I'm hoping someone knows something.

My father once had a Craftsman ACA lockback- a small one, about 3" closed. He lost it, and I'm trying to find a fresh one.

I can find the stockman and large lockback in the series easily (Here's the stockman), but this little lockback is elusive. Has anyone seen one? Any old ad copy or anything to help me track one down?

Thanks. :)

what kind of handles ? Delrin, bone, wood ? my Camis are at the very bottom of my safe. when i have a bit of time i'll pull out the 2000 knives sitting on top of them and look. i have quite a few Craftsman ACA.

well i have toooo many knives and tooo little good storage space. but i did review all my Craftsman and the only LB i have with the ACA etch is the full size 5" one like this:

i think you are looking for a smaller knife ? if so the Schrade LB5 is a superb knife, shows up on ebay often enough to wait for a near mint example, and i'm sure would be as good or better than the knife your dad lost.
if you want this big guy, let me know. i don't need every knife i have !

If at all possible I'd like to find the same as he lost- he carried that dang thing for years. Do your other marked ACAs have the eagle shield like the stockman I posted? Could be a marker to its being Camillus.

The Amazing Cutting Action knives were made by Camillus. documented in this forum recently.

His was brass, but that's the right shield. As for an etch- beats me, it wore off pretty fast. I'd swear it was about 3" closed, though, since that's the size he's always carried.
