Hi guys
Thought I would share with you a design I've been playing around with.

These are made out of 3/16" 1095 with a dark tumbled finish. I'll be offering them in cpm154cm stainless in the future. I'm guessing these are around 5 1/2" to 6" in length, but I haven't measured one for sure.

Anyhow, just a small convienent fixed blade. I was carrying one for a while and I've gotten to where I really enjoy carrying a small fixed blade and the bottle opener is pretty handy for homebrews as well;), but I hated how the knife would drop to the bottom of my pocket and kind of lay horizontally. I was able to fix that with the Ti pocket clip you see on the one below. The other one is set up for neck carry on a cord.

Drop point and a Sheepsfoot model

Thanks for looking!

Very nice work. I wonder if you can offer the best of both worlds - have a lanyard hole but also have the Ti clip attached. The lanyard hole could be under the clip or at the top end of the handle.

I'd like one of these. I really like the wharncliffe blade and I really like the tumble finish. This has a great look.

Thanks for the pics.

Very cool! I like both of them.

The finish looks great, but I'm not familiar with it. Could you please explain how the dark tumbled finish is achieved? Thank you.

Thanks guys!

Dark Tumble Finish...
After heat treat I clean up the blade and do finish grinding. Then I beadblast the blades and then etch them in ferric chloride. That makes them a dark matte grey color; then into the tumbler till I like the finish:)

thanks again!
