I've had a few knives over the years disappear for various reasons but never had one randomly appear. I'm one of those irritatingly organized people that knows when things are out of place or have been moved. Especially when it comes to mah sherp stuffs.

Out in the shop tonight doing some final fitting on a couple sheaths, reached in the old Fiddle/Fletcher drawer for a Delta and made it halfway back to the workbench before stopping. Waaaaait a tic, 6,7,8......9? That's not right. Turned back around, hmmm 6,7,8........ Asp.

Not just an Asp, but the exact one from the pics on Andy's new site that almost made me scream like a girl when I laid eyeballs on it.

Apparently the wife noticed the bulging eyeballs and puddle of drool on my desk and set about tracking it down. She even threw a coat of oil on it, that's just plain love right there. Apparently getting her own Ladyfinger last year was a great idea.

Overall I love this knife. A little smaller and quicker in the hand than Sneaky Pete. Can't wait to get some use out of it. Thanks Andy, this one is a stunner.

Nice, very nice. She's a keeper that's for sure (both your Asp and wife). You scored twice brother!

im just glad kylie doesnt give me grief about the ones i buy....i would never expect her to buy me one

but i do come home to her new coach purses from time to time..

whatever...momma is happy im happy

It's a well established fact that "if Momma aint happy aint nobody happy" so... it seems the obverse would be true!

im lucky...i have worked in the same gun store for 17yrs & kylie & i have been together for about 11-12been married for 6 as of 1-5-08
ive been trading guns, bringing new guns into the house ,buying selling knives since we started dating...so she is used to it...i feel sorry for the guys that "have to check with their wife" that come into my store

Not sure how I feel about telling another man I like his Asp!?!?!

Nice Asp man!

Seriously!

Awesome knife; this was from his first batch of asps I had my eye on that exact knife but opted for a sneaky pete instead. Enjoy!

Nice knife. However, the Arete in your drawer is the one I've been drooling over lately. I love the bolsters.

Thanks gents, she's a keeper for sure. Trying to stay away from collecting any sets of colors but I sure wouldn't mind a few more in this combo

Sweet!! I drooled so hard over that one the day Andy posted it, I was afraid I'd kill my laptop! Knives can be re-made man, but you picked a heck of a woman there. If it comes to her or the knife, keep her :)

Haha.

Sounds like you are a lucky man! Congrats on the awesome wife, and the awesome knife. How is that for a twofer Tuesday?
