Except for being rather large it's great. It protects the checks, stands up to abuse, and can hold other stuff if you need it to.

I have one. It was way too big for me to carry, so I don't. Well made though.

I've got a THE wallet. Big, but tough. It really does hold everything. If you're normally in jeans, BDU's, or, like me, EMS pants, it should serve you well. I don't think it will fit in Dockers or suits very well at all.

Best checkbook cover I've owned is a black nylon one I got from Brigade Quartermasters about 15 years ago. Still have it. Don't have experience with T.H.E. stuff; they seem to be a little too big to be practical.

I really like mine. As mentioned, it is big and holds a lot of stuff. That size means I don't carry it in my pocket but, I never did that anyway.
