Here is the proto for the first of my kitchen knives. This one is a bit high end , but I will be making these in stainless and G10.

Specs:

9 3/4" overall
Flat ground Alabama Damascus steel Blade with a 4 3/4" edge
Dyed and stabilized Box Elder Burl grip w/ Green G10 bolsters over a tapered Black G10 liner

I hope you guys like this one.

Cheers,

John

Why "Grim", John?
This is a beautiful kitchen knife that will also never stop being
a major conversation piece with anyone who sees it... :)

Again, your photography is inspiring!

All the best,

Great work! That has to be one of the most unique and inspiring kitchen knives I've seen!

How does it handle when cutting? Like a meat cleaver or more like a short chinese cleaver? It doesn't look like it has much distal taper.

Beautiful, nonetheless. I'd love to try it out.
