I am thinking about setting up at the Chicago knife show and was wondering how good it is. I think it costs $450 plus gas and hotel so I wanted to make sure it was worth it. It is in September.

Thanks.

I went for the first time last year and thought it was a terrific show. The only thing I would have liked to have seen more of is forged blades, so I wholeheartedly support your attendance.

It's a very good show, and getting better.
Promote yourself well before going. I attended
for the first time last year, and will be there
again this Sept.

I think it is very good show, also. It was my first big knife show to attend a few years back and plan on making the trip again this year (especially since I missed Blade last weekend :grumpy:). It has been beefed up a lot with the tactical international Friday night and knife auction Saturday night. As a maker, Kyle, you should be getting some more input from makers like Russ; but like Roger, I would love to see you there. The more forged blades, the merrier!

Outstanding show. Well managed, well represented, well attended. (and since I had to cancel Blade this year at the last moment - Chicago is more than 'worthy'.) You won't be disappointed.

My second favorite show, Blade being first. I do hope to see ya there, Kyle

Dang That Hurts Wheres the NYC Love?

:o Sorry man, I've had great fun in the big city but I have to judge shows by number of knives sold. And then there's the airline experience........

If I get back to NYC, it'll be to hang with friends like you :D
