Now it's the canoe in Black Pearl. Since I got the toothpick, trapper and canoe in MOP how can I not get the Black Pearl version of each?

I would gladly pay twice as much if they had a USA stamp on them.

Ya know as I carry, my wallyworld 371 Stockman today I was thinking about starting a China thread(never any controversy on that:eek:). I love this knife I mean I really love it, and I have always been one of the guys raggin on the china thing since I started prowling this forum. Of course I wish it was USA also but I just cant help praise the blades, the look and the great snap open and close.
On the other hand, I got a nobleman based on good words on a thread on this forum. Dont like it one bit:barf:. Wasnt Buck sharp out of the box like I come to expect and I havent been able to put a good edge on it(I couldnt sharpen a pencil:(-but I can get my other Bucks shave sharp on my crock sticks)
Lastly I got a Bantam which wouldnt be a great knife even if it was USA but it has a real nice blade on it. Somewhat indifferent to it. Nice and big though and I like big honkin knives:thumbup:

Anyway those are my thoughts from China Grove-eggroll anyone.
Someone should just kung pow me right in the jaw for that-sorry

I have quite a few of the Chinese made Bucks also. I just never talk about them here much, but if buying some of them helps Buck's bottom line and keeps them going in these tough times, why not. It's a small price to pay and they are really nice knives for the most part.

I just got the red wood buck 373 trio (imprted version of the Cadet), and I gotta tell you, guys, this is one friggin cool knife. Fit and finish are almost flawless. Walk and talk of the blades is almost up to Vic standards. Not too tight, not too loose, just perfect. The blades are razor sharp right out of the box, and it is so well made, that none of the blades have any wobble, unlike the USX versions which wobble all over the place. I've gotten a few SAKs, Cases, and Bokers that I can't seem to carry, but this Buck has been in my pocket since I got it, and I think it will remain there for a long time. Not too bad for an import knife.

I’ve had similar experiences with some Bucks imported slip joints. I haven’t gotten a lemon yet. And as mentioned above it does help Bucks bottom line.

On the other hand the new ones with their sweet leather pocket pouch are calling to me. Better looking (at least to me) and USA made are just icing on a nice sharp cake.

A Buck Nobleman was my edc for over a year. That is a long time for me.

Being an electrician, it cut a lot of drywall and ceiling tile. Also very sheeple friendly.

Learn how to sharpen or get a new knife every six months.
