When I first starting getting into knives a few years ago I started collecting Spydercos. I had a Military, Starmate, Native, Harpy, Viele, Jess Horn, etc. Somehow my interest changed and I got rid of all my Spydies. Well, I always missed my Military and got another...than a plain edge version, then the Native, Harpy, Starmate, Viele, a Lum and now a Chinook.

Spyderco makes a fine product and as I mature as a knife collector, I came back home to Spyderco because they are one of the most reliable companies out there. Craftsmanship, price and design brought me back and I am here to stay.

Feels good to be home, again.

Yeah, Gregg, I know what you mean. I drift off and buy other knives periiodically, but I find myself always returning to the tried and true at Spyderco.

I'm pretty much settled on Spyderco and Buck as the mainstays of my collection. Of course, there will always be a Sebenza and a Dozier FH (new-very cool), maybe a selected few other custom/semi-customs folders, but they will be the exception.
I have a Starmate on the way, now I've gotta get one of those Lum Chinese !

Yeah,

Spyderco was the company that got me going, and they are the company that continues to intrigue me the most.

I guess that means I can't buy another Calypso Jr micarta, or BF Native from you, Greg. Both have a good home.
