I recently came into possesion of my late grandpa's winchester folder im told he always had that knife on him feels like i have a pretty big peice of him anyway i wanted to know what everybody else remembers the old timers in their families carryin all the time

I carry my grandfathers buck 303 frequently, you can tell its his because he'd always put the edges to a grindstone to thin them out a bit too much. Love using it, just full of memories.

My father has a craftsman two blade, spear and clip point folder thats massive, an absolute tank of a knife, must weigh at least a pound.

My grandpa always carries a case chrome vanadium stockman in yellow and my dad's favorites are opinels.

My dad never carried a knife and my grandpa carried a rusted pos dime store knife. Somehow I came to appreciate fine cutlery in spite of them.

My grandfather always carried a Schrade Old Timer 3 blade stockman. I've had one just like it for ages, still carry it every now and again. My other grandfather is a Case man. Dad carries around a classic SAK, and for a while a small Case blue bone trapper, but Dad loses stuff all the time.
