First it was the classic full sized Seb. Liked it so much, I decided to see what else I could add. Well, I was a my local knife pusher tonight and laid eyes and hands on a three-in-line. Love at first flick. Now my Classic has a room-mate. Lovin' these CRs. A bit pricey for a semi-custom, but I feel I am getting so much for those dollars spent. Just wish my pusher carried more CR. But then my CC is happier that they don't.:) :D

I like how you refer to the as the "pusher", CRK are as addicting as drugs and probably more expensive. I too started out with a large classic then a mnandi and now I got yesterday a small bocote wood classic.

P.S. I don't use or condone drugs it was just a referance

Congrats, Richard! I trying to limit myself to just 4 but I keep seeing others that I like.

Yes, it is very difficult to "just say no". Tonight I stopped by my local "pusher" to just "look". Well, that cost me big time. Came home with a large Seb Classic Unique Graphic w/MOP inlay and an Inyoni. Just can't stop with this CRs. Just plain beautiful (as well as all the other superlatives we have used in the past.) I guess I AM addicted.

At my age, no sense pacing myself. So many knives, so little time. Except for two fixed blades CRs, my major focus seems to be Sebs in various forms. Just gonna keep looking for more unusual Sebs that fit my budget limitations.

Bought another Seb. This one is the NICA Tanto 2005. What a piece!!!! Action is smooth as silk. Just loving it. I never used to even look at CRs. Too expensive I thought. Then I bought my first one. The fit, finish, smooth action, the entire package. I am hooked!! Custom knives at mid-tech prices. I like this.

Just picked up my first micarta inlay small Seb Classic. And a mnandi (sp). Beautiful knives. Cannot say much more than that. The dealer had a bunch of other Sebs, mnandi, and one piece CRs. Looks like I will be going back to this dealer some more. Love the feel of the micarta inlay. Such beautiful work indeed. And the Mnandi will be the perfect "gentlemans" knife for those occassions where a larger knife might be off-putting. I am one very happy camper tonight.

SirGalant: Still have my SOGs. Just rounding out the collection. My SOG fixed blades are very important to me as they were the knives that got me started in this madness called knife collecting.

There's a dealer in San Diego that carries CRs? I ask because there doesn't appear to be a dealer up in Silicon Valley who does. I've been thinking about getting a large seb, but I want to handle one first before I do it. If there's a dealer in the San Diego area, maybe I can swing by the next time I'm in town....

Bulgron,

There may be some CRK dealers in Northern Cal that would have what you want. I've never visited any of these places, so you'd want to call them first to evaluate their stock. Here's a list that I'm considering for my upcoming vacation to the bay area in 2 weeks:

Armor-Geddon
San Jose, CA 95123
(408) 873-8899
Dicky's Knife and Gold
Dublin, CA 94568
(925) 875-0741
Greenhorn Archery & Knives
Auburn, CA 95602
(530) 888-9298
Kelley's Cutlery Etc.
Modesto, CA 95356
(209) 543-1784
Moore Knives
El Dorado Hills, CA 95762
(916) 769-5736
We Be Knives
San Francisco, CA 94133
(415) 982-9323

If this note catches Stjame's attention, he might be able to comment on the strong CRK dealers in his stompin' grounds . . .

Also closer to you than SD are Nordic Knives in Solvang, and Plaza Cutlery in the LA area off of the 405. I've been to both of those places, and their inventory is most excellent.

The local San Diego area dealer, at least as far as stocking more than just a couple of CRs is Wrights Knives in La Mesa. (619) 465-6905. He is open Tues thru Sat, 10AM-6PM.
